For a few months, now, I have been fiddling around with a project that I would really like to take to the "next level." It started with watching the Syfy channel "Alice" miniseries and just adoring Andrew Potts' portrayal of the Mad Hatter. So I picked up a pencil and pad and drew this: http://fav.me/d5jgsun . I liked it so I decided to make a project out of it. One of my "cures" ("cure" here means avoidance of) for writer's block is to shift gears and work on some other creative activity. So if I had a series of drawings to work on, I would have that to fall back on, at least for a while.

Happy Halloween, Deviants. Halloween is my very very favorite holiday so I'm always a little bummed when mine doesn't turn out the way I would hope (including great costumage, great friends, and parties). This year looked like it was going to be another year of watching my favorite day drift passed unnoticed and then... Best. News. Ever. Kill Hannah would finally be releasing the video shot last summer for Why I Have My Grandma's Sad Eyes. Why is this important? Because not only is that one of my favorite songs, ever, but the video was imagined, directed and produced by a for really real indie horror movie director, "Spooky" Dan Walker (

Update from the last time

Watched American Psycho last weekend. Feeling a bit less anxious about the content of my book making me look like a nutter:crazy: but still hate that every time I pick it up I find a new horrifying typo. Or am reminded that I put the whole thing together using Paint and MS Works :hmm: :no:
Presently, I'm trying to sort out all the published submissions to bending spoons over the last few years to put them into volume 2 of an anthology. And relearning that my organizational skills SUCK!!!! HA After that, I guess it's back to work on my own new book.
